Along the geology trail between Værlandet and Bulandet lies a solitary glacial erratic. The boulder consists of greenschist and rests on Devonian conglomerate.
Its rounded and smooth shape shows that the stone was transported a long distance by the inland ice towards the end of the last Ice Age. When the ice melted, the boulder was left behind here, far from the place where the rock originally formed.
