Rossvikheia

This is a popular and frequently used path to the top of the hill. The first part of the walk follows the historic Postvegen til Trondheim, before the path climbs steeply on a clear trail. The final stretch towards the cairn on Rossvikheia is mostly flat and crosses bare rock, small bogs and heather moorland. Slightly to the left, on the way towards the cairn, you will find potholes, and one of them is marked with a stick, so it is easy to notice. This tells us that at some point during the last Ice Age, a large river flowed here and created these beautiful formations.
