Alden Strandflate

Strandflate is a geographical term specific to the coastal landscape of Norway. It refers to a low, flat and often broad coastal zone or platform stretching between the open sea and the higher inland terrain. The strandflat on Alden is characterised by a relatively flat, narrow area around the high mountain on Alden.
