The rock carvings on Atløy are located at the farm Leirvåg. Fifty-six motifs are distributed between two main localities on the farm. Forty-three of the motifs are boats, 3 are human figures, 3 are ring figures, 1 is a line figure and 3 are cup marks. Burial mounds from the Bronze Age lie within one hundred metres of both rock-carving localities.
